Hey guys !

I'm so inactive here that i think no one is even gonna see / read this lol but nonetheless i would like to inform you that I'm going to be moving accounts for a fresh start!

I've tried to be active on this account again but i don't know why I just can't find time or inspiration to draw/upload anything on here and it just feels empty and strange. I've moved to a different country and I have a new job etc but it's like i'm clinging too much to the past me on this account and perhaps that's why I can't get out of my art block OTL. But i love the users and art of everyone on dA too much to leave it for good so I thought i'd try to start up a new account and that way get into art again.

I hope to start opening commissions and stuff again in the future but since i'm starting over anew I'll hold some free raffles or take a couple free requests first which I'll open periodically in a journal. 

I won't be deactivating this account or deleting anything I uploaded here. But I might not reply to notes/messages. Theres seriously soooo many notifications that has piled up over my inactivity (i think i've been away for like 1 year?) 

I'll respond to anything you note/comment on my new account though rest assured !

As part of my new years resolution though lol in 2017 i have promised myself to draw lots and be active again so ... i hope i can manage it haha!

Hey everyone!!! Haha sorry for being inactive for so long //sigh
I've just been super busy and going through a lot of stressful things... I get depression sometimes and I just can't bring myself to draw or come online. But I'm alright! XD No worries!!!! And this isn't what I wanted to talk about lol

Anyway, I am trying to start my own manga soon! I created Graham i think about 2-3 years ago can't remember the exact date. This is him:

I watched an episode of this new anime that just started airing called Nanbaka (which looks super fun) and saw this character:



OTL isn't he pretty much just Graham with his hair color and eye color reversed lmao the coincidence is uncanny!!!!!!!! It's not just me thinking they look super similar right?

Do you think I should change Graham's design? I'm afraid after I draw the manga, Graham's image will forever be compared to this other character and that people would think I stole or referenced the design although I didn't. I don't really want to change Graham's design tbh ... i wouldnt know where to start to change it either omg but this similarity still makes me uncomfortable

Any thoughts??

I'm sorry about this increase hdjkal but i felt like I needed to. I get that a lot of people may think it's expensive and drastic, but I won't be lowering the prices. I will occasionally give discounts or special offers but the new prices I've set will remain unchanged for the most part.

When artists provide commissions, it is seen by some people as an artist getting money off of their "hobby" and so they think reasonable commission prices are too high. I've read comments complaining about expensive commissions/adopts on dA, on tumblr etc. and it saddens me... Drawing is still a job that takes a lot of time and effort <3

The prices I had set before were more or less the same as when i first started offering commissions. They were low because I wasn't confident enough in my drawing abilities but now  I believe that I've improved since then and has gotten the hang of drawing for other people. I've looked around dA at other people's commission prices but I am not really sure if they would be considered more expensive or cheaper (I'm sure it depends on each person)... but these are the prices I'm comfortable with. 

I know I vanished from dA for a long and it's rather annoying that I just returned and all of a sudden raised commission prices pfft but honestly I've been considering raising them for a while now.
